i'm in no mood

when it all becomes too much!

i'm in no mood tonight

for the moon is low

and the mocking bird's harsh catcalls

disturb twilight's ebbing afterglow


i'm in no mood tonight

for the whippoorwill sang a dire dirge

as evening darkness grew

now night glares back

with hooded eyes

and an altered point of view


i'm in no mood tonight unless

to run wild upon the dampened grass

and through the poplar thickets crash

until the crush has been subdued


i'm in no mood

Good poem, yet I felt it kinda' forced, though maybe it was intentionally as the name already suggested maybe you were just not in the mood ^^
Nevertheless I still enjoyed reading this, I usually read out loud, and reading your poems out loud was enjoyed thoroughly.
