Simply a poem for the object of my affection

There lived a boy with sunshine hair

Eyes of the ocean and skin so fair

I've often thought of how I might test the waters

I fear if I step in they'll be too cold

I might feel a sharp pain if I'm too bold

At last I see his blue eyes closing

Will you be my sunshine, boy?

There went the boy with sunshine hair

I wished he'd stay but that wouldn't be fair

The world awaits for him to go see it freely

A girl awaits a lucky girl indeed

When the sunset my heart it went along

Don't want it back I don't want to move on
