I Wander

I Wander

A Poem by Lizflores
"

Questioning those who give me guidance has lead to my own inward turmoil.

"

A leisurely walk along the road

What escapes my lips makes the air feel cold

I think it's only an allusion

I long to rid my own confusion

Should I escape your crimson mind?

Or did I step outside a line

A leisurely walk along the road

My shadow talks

More than the figure it forgoes

Is it only an allusion?

I long to rid my own confusion

Did I ruin all your plans?

Or did I let go of your hand?

The secret feels so undermining

I wonder why

Is the secret just a lie?

The secret just a lie....
