That should be me

That should be me

A Poem by Jane Doe
"

for j

"
That should be me,
In the hospital bed,
Not taking a breath,
Nearly dead.

It shouldnt be,
You,
For what have you done,
What did you do?

Nothing,
So why you and not me,
I am healthy,
Unlike Edgar Allen Poe and Annabel lee.

Why I ask,
Please i pray...,
Dont take away my reason to live,
My love my only reason on this earth i stay.

Dont take him,
I beg,
Tears in my eyes,
Telling myself this a bad dream, hoping its just lies.
