My home

My home

A Poem by Jane Doe

My home

My home is in
Those comforting eyes
Who are soft and brown
The eyes that tell no lies

They take my breath away
Make me gasp for air
And the way you flip your head
To adjust you hair

Makes me nearly faint
I don't know there is something about you
Something about the love you give me
It all the things you do

I thank God for giving me a home
We may fight and say goodbyes
But even then I'll be mesmerized
By my home in your eyes
