The Hollow Tree

The Hollow Tree

A Poem by J

I stared at the hollow tree,
Wandering if I really could be
Trapped in my own reality.

The only thing that bothers me,
Is if I have enough time to flee,
From the dangers hidden inside of this tree.

I know what lurks inside of thee,
For it is also living inside of me,
But all I can offer is a humble plea.
