She Just Walked Right By

She Just Walked Right By

A Poem by Floornine
"

This is the first piece I've completed in a while... not finished... just completed. I've been trying to be more outright in my work so this is the beginning of my evolution... I think.

"
For two days, you were fucked up.
Washed up,
Kicked out.
Betting on banking big
With ten fingers in the air, you waved but
She just walked right by.

Four days, you were fucked up.
Slept out,
S**t drunk cold,
Relying on the banter of your hoves
To be noticed but
She just walked right by.

Because sometimes, it's not enough to want it to
Want it because she is pretty and successful, because
She will see that she is
Too pretty and successful for you.

For one month, you were fucked up.
Pissed off,
Playing patient.
All the time
Dropping your die on her doorstep. Too late
When you say you want to come home because
You can't live away from her arms and
She just walked right by.

Too bad.
She is fucked up.
Stepped on,
Yours scorn.
And it means everything to her to keep
Just walking right by.

I like awkward things and people, lomography, and tea. If I like you, I'll tell you. People think it's cute. I'm just clumbsy with all that lingual foreplay. If you ask me to be your friend, I .. more..
