Clairvoyant

Clairvoyant

CLAIRVOYANT

Just when you thought

all hope was lost

you realized

for once you had it right

and it’s too late

in the midnight hour

you’ve gone too far

 you’re too far gone

do you recall

looking back when you first knew

it was over

slowly the truth inside you grew

into the ending

of the reverie

of the levity

that makes fools of us all

don’t despair

all the rending of the clothing and your hair

won’t do anything to heal

all the feelings

that you thought you had

look around

look anywhere

look everywhere

they’re just not there

and all along

deep down inside

you already knew it

you’re clairvoyant

oh how true these words ring true...
my my....
i think i've been here before!
no, i know i have...

The way I understand it... we are to follow our inner voice.
You know, that one that says "stop!" when we insist on "go!",
or it says "go!" and we insist on "stop!"....

you get the idea. Apparently, this inner voice is very wise and
can lead us to our "happy place" if we'd just listen d****t!

Stubborn humans! STUBBORN!

I like the way the truth grows in this one. I think I reviewed it before. I may have said something clever or even a little profound. But, today, it is enough to let the words speak for themselves.

This is wonderful and beautiful, and sad also very well written.

Ah, this could be about a myriad of things - seems to be marking the ending or beginning of some passage in one's life. Nicely written. Thank you.
