Goodbye

Goodbye

A Poem by LeeAnne Elizabeth

My memories are overflowing

Showing no signs of ever slowing

I can't cry because I won't

You say you love me, I know you don't

I'm on the edge ready to fall

Can you save me and lose it all?

Don't take the time to understand

Because I know you never can

Don't watch me as I walk away

You won't have anything else to say

Don't you say that you are in pain

Because I know it won't ever change

Don't say that you're heart is broken

Please don't stand there wishing and hoping

You have to learn to stay strong

Just like I've been all along

I'll tell you now, it won't hurt

When I say that one word
