All Wrong

All Wrong

A Poem by dancingintherain

V1
Go back, go back to summer
When I was doing fine, doing fine
Without a guy in my life
So much better without drama and stressful days
But I still fell for you and your teddy bear face
I was in still love with him, still am today
Nothing had and ever will change

Chorus
It was my best friend, your best friend's girlfriend
Who set us up
It wasn't just her all along that messed things up,
There wasn't any trust
It was all wrong, all wrong from the start
Never know what's the truth or not
The first time around was perfect, second time getting mad for nothing,
Third time's definitely not a charm,
Called each other out but we were both at fault
But most of all, I wasn't meant for you, because someone still has my heart
Because of that it was all wrong from the start
(All wrong, all wrong, all wrong, all wrong)

V2
Up down, up down, everyday
Got mad at me for hanging out with other guys
I told you I didn't have any time
It was called off, we needed time, we needed space
Told me I was on the list of making you feel played
Didn't wanna fight, didn't wanna believe that my best friend
Said the things she said

-Chorus-

Bridge:
I thank you
For helping me realize
My heart was with him,
That people are selfish
And some friends tell lies
I had fun holding hands in that truck,
Kisses by the pool,
And your twin sister too
But I still have your hat to remind me of you
And I will see you someday soon
My friend

-Chorus-(2x)
All wrong, all wrong, all wrong from the start
All wrong, all wrong, all wrong from the start
