Actions Speak Louder Than Words Through A Rollercoaster Ride

A Poem by dancingintherain

Actions speak louder than words.
You said you wanted to be friends,
That you cared about me,
That you didn't want to lose me,
But there you go ignoring me..
Acting as if I'm not even there
Not even a quick hello,
Or a hug
Or even a look
Feels weird to not be touched by you anymore
I feel like a half of me is gone
But maybe you really are.

I want you back, but yet I don't
I don't know if I can be your friend when i can't trust you
I wish it could be easy, but it's not
Maybe you'll come back around, maybe you won't
I wish it was as simple as people say
I hate seeing couples everywhere, especially during this time of year
Makes me miss every happy moment
But one of us ruined it
Maybe both of us did

I wish we had a longer chance, I wish i saw it coming.
But I'm not a fortune teller
You'll never know how much this broke me down,
How much it ruined me
It'll never be the same

Cause actions speak louder than words,
And I'm sick of this rollercoaster ride
Everyone make up your mind!
I'm lost, confused, I'm just gonna let go...
Forget you, and maybe you'll come back
Things take time and people need space
The memories will be erased.
Time to have fun with friends
And God and writing is all I need
