Alone

Alone

A Poem by dancingintherain

No one understands,
You don't understand,
She doesn't understand
The pain I'm going through
I'm better now
But I'll never go back to my normal self
I used to stand in the cold-
The freezing cold
I'm better now, but I'm still shivering
The realization begins to sink through my brain
That I'm alone
I can't HEAR:
Your voice
I can't SEE:
Your face
I can't FEEL:
Your warmth and your loving arms
I can't SMELL:
The spicy but sweet perfume I always smelled on my hands after touching you
The realization begins to sink through my brain,
That you don't want me
That you don't love me anymore
It's like that poem you wrote,
"Red Love Turned Blue"
I wish I could steal that poem from you,
Because it makes so much sense
But at the same time, nothing makes sense anymore
