Honey

Thoughts from and adrenaline rush

thunder glides across in coiled clouds

the sky dipped in midnight ink

adrenaline surges through your veins

leaking to your core

sparks in your mind

but drifting memories

you are engulfed in flames of hope

a desire

of nothing, but everything

as your hands graze the wind

catching

snatching wild flowers

of dreams

there was nothing so sweet

slipping through teeth

the words on those lips

you have never heard

those words lost to fervor

yet never explained

but the unknown

like honey and amber entwined

seeping into the storms that rage
