Cracked shell

Cracked shell

A Poem by audrie

The shell is solid
keeping the s**t contained
The mind is aware of the circumstances
but feels powerless because it doesn't know how to turn the s**t into manure and plant the seeds of blissfulness
The soul is stuck and cannot make a decision because it is in a coma
the shell is becoming weak and beginning to crack and all of the s**t came spilling out

Shells are often cracked to become something more. Some spring birds, others bring a life. Not saying a shell is a bad thing, but in this expression of work, it brings a light and life that most never see.
