Leave If You Want

Leave If You Want

A Poem by audrie

I travel this journey all alone
with a pain you'll never begin to know

I've been healing forever
this is my endeavor
to cease right now
would be to cease forever

It's not a good idea
It's not the safest path
If I ever want to get better
I have to make me last

In this life of mine
I haven't got a clue
But many scares
to guide me through
Pointing out to me the various traps
and of the very possibility
that there may be more danger waiting for me

So leave if you want
Don't stick around
If you cant stand the sight of me falling to the ground
My knees will be skinned
because I have sinned
My soul is not strong enough
to make these mistakes again
