The Fear

The Fear

A Poem by Daniel Fourie
"

Living life in the confines of fear.

"
When will it end?

This fear is driving me to the darkest depths of my mind
It feels so real, like I might just become the things I loathe

I walk around in circles, constantly trying to not stumble
I'm sitting here with God on my side
while the world keeps spinning
Will I never be heard by my fellow man?

Anxious to the point of distraught
Lock me up, put me in a cage
Insanity is what is ruling

Lord please
Make me full, for I cannot live life in the confines of fear any longer

So I ask you once more
When will it end?
