Brightness

Brightness

A Poem by Daniel Fourie
"

About a girl.

"
We're going out now
Screaming it out loud

I'm overseas, I can't find my keys
So beautiful
Girl, just please

Your smile, your eyes
Your hair, your thighs
They make me want to get up and jive

Making the cash
Meeting the girls
I don't really care
'cause I'm missing her

I'm almost back, I've already packed
I'll fly down, I won't make a sound
I know you don't like to be surprised
but I promise you girl, I bring no lies

Your smile, your eyes
Your hair, your thighs
They make me want to get up and jive

Making the cash
Meeting the girls
I don't really care
'cause I'm missing her

Interesting. Is this based on experience? Sounds like a student' post-school experience. Nice form.
