Saturday night

Saturday night

A Poem by Daniel Fourie

Alone on a Saturday night
Guess I'll lie awake 'til the morning light

Waiting for you to get back to me
But that won't happen, not likely

Feeling so useless, held back
Maybe I should leave, time to pack

Sorry for wasting your time
I wish I saw the sign
I'll get out of your space now
I just need to find out how

Sounds like it should be a song! Crit: add apostrophe to 'til. Also, strictly speaking, tense should be 'I wish I'd seen the sign' and not 'I wish I saw the sign' but sometimes the correct tense sacrifices rhythm...
