Thunder Storm

Thunder Storm

A Poem by Garnet Christine

Thunder Storm

She loves the smell of the rain,
It clears her mind.
The pattering keeps her focused,
On what?
No one knows,
Not even her.

The rain falls faster and harder,
Her heart sprints going along with the rain.
She fingers her rosary,
Her foot steps out into the storm.
Thunder blasts close,
Her soul was hit.

Falling over the edge,
They broke her.
They took her heart away and locked it in a vault,
Her heart can belong to no one.
She mourns,
He fights.
