Sometimes I Just Wanna Scream

Sometimes I Just Wanna Scream

A Poem by Frieda P
"

some things I can't tolerate

"
Runny eggs, cold feet on a chilly night
umbrella's turned inside out in a storm
my annoyance of mispelled words
prolonged hiccups, loud burps
people that pop gum incessantly
never a parking space at the malls
fluffy snow turned black, icy roads
sticky fingers in my hair and up my back
burnt popcorn, the price of gas
dirty kitchen floors and no wine refills
the words moist and ridonkulous
old coffee and running out of hazelnut creamer
raw chicken, knuckles or organ meats
guys with speedos & white reflective  sunglasses
toddlers with make-up in beauty pageants
and unrequited love

the list goes on.......................

Most of all what I can't tolerate

none more appalling than the hypocrite
that vile man or woman who spew cruel
that stand on the church steps preaching
whilst denigrating his fellow man
with nasty callous words of contempt

 Amen

alot of wrong habits which we can not accept. the strange thing is, everyone may look against those habits if you talk to them individually but they are still everywhere! as a teacher who has alot of teenagers students, let me add my scream to yours..

Yeah, this is great! ...and unrequited love, just slipped in there at the end. The last stanza, I couldn't agree with more and very well stated. Also you are brilliant at being able to laugh at yourself. I imagine that's what keeps you healthy!

Probably true!
The monkey's hilarious... and yeah, those things can pretty much annoy the carp out of you... especially the toddlers in make-up doing beauty pageants... seriously people let kids be kids... nice one. ^_^

Thanks so much, it was actually a very fun write.
Haha wow, this made me smile and giggle. Such power through humor and the mutual frustration I share throughout this write. Even your status update "Dear Santa, if you leave a new Maserati GranCabrio Sport under the tree, I'll give you the antidote to the poison that's in the milk." made my night, I laughed so much. You're writing is brilliant. You make the reader feel comfortable and have a good time as well as agree with what you have to say, that is truly an art. Being a mother and an independent entrepreneur and at the same time being so cool and humorous, inspire me. "Subscribes" Great write.
