Your Tears Slid Down My Face

Your Tears Slid Down My Face

A Poem by Frieda P

Perhaps you recognized my dark suit in your closet
occasionally your tears have slid down my face
our hearts could be beating in the same rhythm as we speak
your ink has stained my mind, mine has oozed upon your eyes
wide divides with no spaces between the twists of alchemy
no quasi hyphenation counterfeit resemblances to simulate
24 carats of pure unadulterated compulsive purging of the soul
weeping in your tang of bitterness, crying in your soul
with pen to paper, tears to dust through poetic firmament
smiling behind melancholy eyes ruminating inky connections

A amazing poem. Your poetry is getting more powerful and love the way you use the language.
"your ink has stained my mind, mine has oozed upon your eyes
wide divides with no spaces between the twists of alchemy"
I like the above statements. Thank you for sharing the outstanding poetry.

If that's what you like Tai, more like the sharing of our soul's craft and passion....
Knock knock, who's there ?
I wonder if Knock Knock is poetry ?
Stolen the thought, of so many common, connections we have, we miss, we give back....
You are right...Good night....

Thanks Ken, always appreciate 'your' words my friend.
Only a devoted adoration of creation could elicit such moving distractions. To be transported and made into a changeling living with such closeness to the lives of artists treading roads in remote terrain clutching hearts with one hand and bleeding ink with the other, is a gift. A gift shared with the world is a sacrament, a common wine, that tastes the richest on the lips of the lucky few to have shared in it. Great sentiment Frieda.

Oh my God, I am so close to tears here, hun, this was written with such angst and sorrow. You have written it so well, poured your heart on to the page and written with such pain. :( -hugs-

Thanks so much Peter, appreciate the visit.
this is beautifully written and so sad...the loss of someone who was such a close friend...you read each other's thoughts...became one another so often...even now.
