Singing my tune! If you speak to me first thing in the morning I am not a happy person. Warned You'd think my in-laws would have learned this trait by now... :)

I must be infused with coffee and have about 30 minutes of silence (music is okay...) and then I transform into a lovely person that can carry on any kind of conversation... before that... witchy momma!

Haha You're getting good at this style, my friend. I come to your page and actually look for the senryu and haiku. This one...I can relate to. If you put Dr. Pepper in place of coffee, it would fit me like a warm glove :) Nicely done!

LOL! I have that exact magnet on my fridge. Yep - it's a bad idea to speak to an uncaffeinated Sev... Funny, Frieda!

Love coffee. It brings love to the world--my love. I feel like the Hulk. You wouldn't like me without my coffee. I hesitate to offer you a critique, because you rock, but I can't help but think homicide should be changed to suicide since the act is of another. Anyways, I trusting you've had your coffee. Wink.

Now you know why I come into the office so early, I'd hate to have to kill someone before the sun was up. Funny my friend.

I enjoyed the theme of this coffee poem. Here's a free verse gift poem inspired by this one: It has 5/7/5 syllables.

Precariously
placing talk before coffee
invites homicide.
