Conquer Effect

In the restlessness of spirit
in the rustle of my unease
still lies the deceptive devilment
flowing slowly at rapid intensity
pierces the heart, tears open wounds 
mangled bloodstains in your memory
whilst consciousness resists
recollections of entanglements
gone array twisted within the truth
sour words that crippled remain
listen to the contemptuous love notes
blissed with the tinge of scar gray
intricate arguments to contest

a moment of indiscretion's lust
beastly duality of love and hate

this pain shadows my sensibilities

a gossamer spirit & a tainted story
that frivolous fine line that exists
when one is maimed and adulterated
