This poem this morning is so very calm and soothing...on my drive in this morning the almost full moon kept me company...if only I had taken the time to pause under it and listen, I am more than certain I could have heard your beautiful words on the cool morning breeze.
I am enchanted by this poem today. Another wonderful amazing piece from your pen Frieda.

Very charming response Jack, thanks so much, always love reading your poetic reviews.
Theres just something about the moon and all its romantic mystery. You found all the right words to transport the reader to soar once more. My favorite line is "breaths of magnolia's sighs". Lovely thoughts here hun...

Thanks muchly Red, I rather like that line myself. ;-)
Ah that sonata...funny thing is I can't listen to it now without thinking of Leonard's creepy robot version ;P
Seriously though, I feel like your poetry is meant to be read laying in a dewy meadow, the damp feathers of grass tickling your back, and eyes to the sky, with just enough moonlight to afford the shadows necessary to access your immaculate world of words. Your poetry is a passport to a secret society where your senses are taken at the door, and it is up to you to find yourself in the plethora of moods and metaphors and mental landscapes...and maybe you'll wake up in that same dewy meadow, knowing you've been given access to a dream, and conscious of the fact that your mind and heart have been touched by a muse...and I haven't even mentioned the physical landscapes ;) Twilight's blossomed delusions are never more tempting than when they come from your fingers Mrs.R...xo

The scene is serene and thoughtful. With words like moon glow, twilight and nightfall, I'm coaxed into seeing a woman by the in the garden or by the window quietly contemplating while the smell of magnolia's drift through air. The music helps to set a nice ethereal scene you've painted here Frieda.
