[paradoxical parenthesis]

[paradoxical parenthesis]

A Poem by Frieda P

paradoxical parenthesis
gypsy wanderings,
excursions
& conceptual volition
people come,
 people stray,
some even stay
filling a void,
 leaving one behind
drifting footnotes
 of our lives intentions
departures,
 detours & stop signs
transgressions amidst,
 rambling digressions
or merely deflections
 in their own deviations
we mourn, rejoice
 and make modifications
revising an alteration
 aside our own
 aberration's fancy,
forever a part of our
 shifting transmutation
within a beguiled
 metaphorical mindfulness,
transposing metamorphosis
 in profound surrender,
teaching us to dance
 amidst raindrops
as friends, family,
 & foe flutter by ~

Thanks so much for your thoughts here Mauricio, haven't seen you in a long while.
You are wise beyond words. Well, except these I suppose. (;

I love this write. It is so genuine and honest. Life is constantly changing, the people in our life are changing. There is never anything that stays the same. The truth in this write is so profound. Fantastic, my dear. I thoroughly enjoyed this piece! xo (:

This was wonderful Frieda. So much truth and wisdom in those words. You shine amidst raindrops and splatter gently against painful walls. In your mournings you accept life's paradoxes. Excellent...:)......

My pleasure. Any time...:)...............
Your wisdom shines in this poem! Isnt that exactly how life works? Its not stagnant...it flows and shifts. So do the people in our lives. If we are lucky the best ones do stay....they even dance within the raindrops with us. Sometimes laughing...other times crying. But they are always holding our hand. This one goes in my favorites... xo
