Once upon a time

            There was just me

                        knowing

                        I stand on the edge of something spectacular

                        but as of yet still unable to decipher it

 

S U D D E N L Y

            Ten thousand paths lay before me

            and though by now I have traveled far

            I know I cannot traverse them all

                                    NOW

                                    is the time to ask

                                    the big questions

 

who AM I

and who CAN I become?

 

 

 

 

                          Once upon a time

                                     I believed I could fly

    Only now do I begin to understand

                                  That flying

                                     Does not always require

                                       Being airborne
