I Do Not Drink TeaA Poem by ScottProbably from 1996 - 2003 writings. It gets edited every time I look at it! Here is the 2014 version.
I will not drink tea again
For my aunt she is a sister weird who Can read all things that will come to pass In the tea leaf patterns that randomly form At the bottom of your finished cup. She reminds me with a wistful smile: She tells only the good things and never the bad. So I cannot bear the thought that once I might have drunk you in the past Though I spooned you round my future when There was no one who would warn me. © 2014 Scott |
