Snake slither

Snake slither

A Poem by Stella

Snake slither softly,

red tongue flicker, sensing prey,

hunting for sweet scent.

a well crafted haiku, the sibilants "s" apt for the subject---enjoyed reading this!---Jo :)

I'm glad to see another poet who writes Haiku!

This is excellent. I have a snake in one of my Haiku.
I like the image and power of the snake!

Spirit moves in me
Like a snake through the tall grass
Slow unseen power

'hunting for sweet scent" is a powerful last line. Great haiku.
