Draw me a picture...

Draw me a picture...

A Poem by lynne
"

Feelings are just like dogs: If you keep them tyed up for too long, they'll go crazy after you let them go.

"

Draw me a picture

of the sun without the shine

it floats up there in space

waiting to be seen

Draw me a picture

of the moon without the stars

it's waiting, lonely, in the darkness

for it's friends to come and visit it

Draw me a picture

of the grass without the green

It sits there, sadly

watching the whole world ignore it

Draw me a picture

of the sky without the blue

the clouds just consume it

the colour fades to nothing

Draw me a picture

of the "me" without the "you"

and see how it turns out.

You may be wondering what this has to do with the description I wrote about the poem. Well, when I wrote the part about how dogs are like feelings, what I meant was that you should never hold your feelings inside you for too long. If you do, they become like a dog, and when you let them out, they go literally insane. So doin't hold them in for too long, unless you want to have a mental breakdown. You should always try your hardest to share your feelings with someone close to you. I'm sorry, I feel like such a hypocrite saying this, because I, myself, have problems about sharing my feelings. In this poem, I shared my feelings with you all, about the person that is closest to me right now. I hope you all enjoyed it.
