stories to tell

stories to tell

A Poem by Reward 'premio' Mwale

I have stories to tell
Stories of how i got here
Stories of hell
I'm a horror story, please pardon me
The demons i faught are now part of me
Flames still burn in my arteries
They charge me up like batteries
I've felt pain become just an itch
In the bowels of hell i harnessed the pain,
a power that you would never imagine
You never really know your strength,
Until you're six feet underground
The true self emerges when you've been under and down
Sometimes you morph into a beast just to beat the ugly
Sometimes you go ugly just to frighten the beast
I'm proof of people who have survived fire and mist
Been through hell conditions, but still exist
I'm a story to be told
A song to be sung
A code yet to be strung
From deep within the bellies of hell
I have stories to tell
