Deepest Sound

Deepest Sound

A Poem by gabiaimee
"

Silence.

"
When my ears finally acclimatize to the silence
and the ringing ceases to hum,
that is the deepest sound I know.
Filled with the unease of absence,
a loss of words,
silent birthday wishes,
commiserating grievances,
replays and regrets,
soundless prayers,
rewinding conversations,
stunned, stopped thought,
wordless embrace,
silence is not barren or bleak
but lovely and teeming with life,
lives,
yours,
and mine.

I hear that sound very so often nowadays than use to in the early days. The sounds where so deafening though we are close and yet so far. One day I decided to prank that deepest sound and they blurted out their names. One was Indifference and the other one was Cold Treatment.
