HERE I STAND

 

Here I stand with nothing but tears in my eyes,

With nothing but faith in my cries,

My love has gone and I need to get my life right,

Now I got no one by my side…

 

People staring at me,

I don’t know what they actually see,

Is it my sadness,

Or someone else they want me to be…

 

By the time I walk away,

I figure it is too late,

The things I made,

And the moments that fade…

Trying to be me,

Is’nt what my enemies see…

 

You can intimidate me,

But can never win me,

It is my pride,

That’s God you see on my side…

 

Now Here I stand,

Tall on my feet,

In my heart there is no fear,

I am furious and now got no tears…

yeah..I see the struggle the protagonist is going through ! perhaps a little bit of editing at places...but a very well written piece otherwise.
