Ooh La LaA Poem by Mari' EmeraudeThe "younger man/older woman" dynamic and the conflicts it can present.I'm oblivious to consequence Do we even care who knows? Keeping you a secret to myself I'm afraid it's gonna show. Doesn't it even bother you? The difference in our years? How you pretend to your friends - I'm sure they find it 'weird'. You keep trying to remind me It's not that big a deal I need to just relax and say "We go with what we feel." I'm supposed to be the one With seething confidence (But self-assured people don't linger on the fence!) So, for now I fall into your arms And whisper in your ear The bond we have between us both Is stronger than the fear.
