Right And Wrong

the insane ones say it openly

 

the bullshit being spewed is

the only thing that matters

 

who cares if schools do teach

right and wrong in terms of

how to behave in the classroom

and in the online world

 

the educators are at

the front line

 

they are the vanguard

 

they can speak more effectively

on morality that critics of the

education system

 

teachers don't allow pornography to be seen

 

teachers don't allow chatting with others online

 

teachers don't allow uneducational video viewing

 

teachers largely comport to an established

moral standard that is cultural

 

and largely Christian in fact

 

the churches in America are Christian

 

mostly Jesus-accepting

 

mostly Trinitarian

 

all likely preaching a strong moral foundation

 

schools are teaching students a secular

digital citizenship curriculum that can easily

be connected to Christian tenets

 

any rational mind can see that

 

and people should be smart

enough to see that?

 

and maybe that's the point

 

maybe the outsiders care more

about their dogmas than the

reality that the insiders see daily

 

the Christian bubble makes them

superior to the ones who fight these

battles on a daily basis

 

or not?

 

who knows?

 

the world has never been

an easy place to live in

 

it takes a village to raise a child

 

any number of children in fact

 

and the good members of the village

keep the bad members in check

 

but self-policing is not the be-all,

end-all of moral protectionism

 

yet all villages have

codes of conduct that

must be followed and

schools are part of

the village

 

the logical extension is made,

moral relativism is not taught in school

 

right actions and wrong actions are,

end of story
