you suffer for her,
doing the dance of the
rabbit ears even though
the analog days have
long past

you did it because
you love her,
what else is there?

commitment is light-years
beyond infatuation and
the dance of the
rabbit ears is evidence
for that notion

no matter the age,
digital or analog
