Just Be

Just Be

A Poem by Kenneth The Poet

Roky and Redbone
resigned into repose recently

relegated to the reaches
of superb sonics

and yet they thrived through,
true to themselves,

thimbles yes,
still top-tier talents nonetheless

be true to you, be what you are

a blowtorch in the breeze,
napalm in the nasal lane

wise words were never wasted
and never wanting

just be as the bee,
sting and float
sting again, float again

just be,
and your words shall be too
