![]() Darkest ThoughtsA Poem by Kenneth The Poet![]() Not as eloquent as some of the dark pieces I've read on here![]() Men have penned their darkest thoughts And they don't care about getting caught
They embrace the completing darkness And every bit of its glorious starkness
Because it loves them like a beneficent God Men love their sin, which isn't all that odd
Men will destroy the entire planet Just so nobody else can have it
Just so we can swim in the lake of fire Because our essences will never expire
And so we continue down the destructive path And care not about a righteous, fiery wrath
What's the point if we recreate Taylor's war Where tearing off body parts evens the score
The base, evil creature always takes over And we treat others like the stray dog Rover
Civilization is simply a myth Once the electric flow quits
You see why we embrace the void It's a fate we cannot really avoid © 2011 Kenneth The Poet |
