The Ten Card

The Ten Card

A Poem by Kenneth The Poet

Rolling the digits onto
the ten card, checking a
past that could be
tarnished and speckled
with bird s**t, gooped
in bat guano, but this is

talking about, the nature
that constantly appeals to
the external god concepts or
by turning itself new age inward,
but even the current disciples
of Prometheus, his lighthouse
keepers, can't overcome
this truth, so the ten card
is played in the hope of
winning the background trick.
