Jenny Mize

Jenny Mize

A Poem by Kenneth The Poet

This is the story of Jenny Mize

She got caught by surprise

Fleet, the speed of her demise

The consequence was the prize

Walking back into the woods

Doing things that nobody should

She heard the song, it was moot

It was her body to pollute

She took a swig of wonder tea

Visions of terror she could only see

Along for the trip was Robby Pete

A two-headed dog he would meet

Jenny watched a demon jump on her

It growled beastly and didn’t purr

She fell back and smashed her head

The rock of chance was bloody red

The air of the moment full of heat

Two gross heads were enough for Pete

He ran forward on shaky ground

In reality, the water made him drown

This was the story of Jenny Mize

She got caught by outright surprise

Making a choice that wasn’t wise

She was wronged by devious lies
