Seen

Seen

A Poem by Wren

I am laid out before you
Undone by your gaze.
Your fingers linger over each scare,
Landmarks of history
Tributes to battles won
and lost.
Every inch, Every curve of me is visible to you.
With nowhere to hide
I can feel the depth of your exploration
as your eyes travel.
Every touch
sends a surge of electricity through me
I am both
exhilarated and afraid.
Frozen in this moment with you
Forever.

to be seen is to be vulnerable. it requires trust. and people wish to be seen! but there's a needed sensitivity to touch another's scars. beautiful poem!!

frozen. while the other sees!
