Searchin'

Woke this morning with this idea of Energy and searching. Our inner self is energy that is connected to the energy of the universe and is the same.

We been searchin', we been searchin' Everywhere

We been lookin', we been lookin', tryng to Find

Where are those answers, where is all they talk About

Where could it be, where could it be, Where

 

You keep lookin', you keep lookin', all Around

Searchin' and searchin', is it out there in the Air

Trying to find, trying to find, those answers, spinin' in your Mind

You've got questions, so many questions, where could the answers Be

 

So many days, so many days, you think and you Think

Well today, is surely gonna be the day, gotta Be

You been lookin' so long, it's gonna be any day Now

You been lookin' so long, surely gotta find It

 

Well there are so many questions, only so many Places

You been at it so long, it surely gotta come, gotta Come

You been lookin' so long, you gotta find it Soon

Sometimes you get tired, start questioning the Why

 

Albert told us a story, and now you finally Remember

Said Albert told us a story, about this little Fish

He asked a fish, hey fish, have you found the water Yet

Fish swam in circles, then came back and said What?

 

I said hey fish, have you found the water Yet?

Fish just sat there, trying to think of what to Say

He stumbled for a moment, then this is what he Said

I been searchin', I been searchin' Everywhere

 

The water to him, well it just had always Been

And with it always having been, it just made it hard to See

Something that has always been there, it is just hard to Notice

Something that has always been, becomes like a ghost to You

 

The fish he said to him, I have been searchin' everywhere to Find

The fish he said, I have no idea what water is can you help Me

The fish was confused, he swam off mumbling to Himself

He kept saying, I been searchin', no idea where to Find

 

For years he kept thinkin', about what Albert had said to Him

For years he kept searchin', he wanted so to find the Water

It had always been there, it was so close, right There

He couldn't find, though it touched his skin, couldn't Recognize

 

You see the water to the fish, like the Be to the Human

Water to the fish, Is like to you the answers, they have always Been

You want so to find the answers, want so to know what is Real

They have always been there for you, just like the water to the Fish

 

You see for the fish it is just on the outside, and for you just on the In

It is the riddle of all time, to go within child, to go Within

Why is it they call you a human being, have you learned yet how to Be

Another man told you once, to Be or not to Be

 

How is it the human, can choose not to Be, not to Be

Funny how with the name, most have not learned how to Be Still

But that is where the answers come, it is in the simple act to Be

It is in the stillness, when you hear your beating heart, in the Quiet

 

As you enter in with patience, your beating heart will be your Guide

As you enter in, be still, be still, you are drifting then you See

Ahh, the beauty that lies there, lying just waiting to be Discovered

It has been waiting there forever, just waiting for you to learn to Be

 

After all these years looking everywhere, you look back and Chuckle

It has been here all along, it has been here all along, now I finally See

Though I do still keep on searchin', most times it is happening wWthin

And the closer that I come, so much easier to connect with those Without

 

Why didn't I find this long ago, why didn't I learn to search Within

I guess I needed time to grow, needed to see out there what others Do

Doesn't really matter anyway, now my heart is singing through the Day

For I have found it, I have found it, my water is running through my Veins

 

It is not out there in someone else, not some gem, or book, or Guru

It is not there in the outer space, it won't be found in a million Years

Because the answers that you seek my friend, you can only Provide

You are your best Guru, find You and all mysteries you will Solve

 

Like the fish you have been swimming, getting dizzy in the Search

It goes over and over in your mind, you worry when will come the Day

But stop now and rest, stop now, stop now, find solace in this Thought

It is within you, It Is All within you, no one can stop you from your Find

 

Open your heart child, go within, feel your way, now you See

The beauty that is lying there, the softness, the rhythm, the deeper you Go

You feel the love within you, it expands, it grows, it is all about You

Soon it grows both on the within and without, it is like an ebb and Flow

 

Feel it take you, feel it take you, it is like sitting still within the Sea

Softly, slowly,  gently rocked in the movement, caught in her ebb and Flow

You are the water, you are the sea, it has become a part of you and you Her

No separation, you are one with water, both in and out, both in and Out

 

Now you reach up and you learn to touch the air, Oh, the Air

Realize it is no different, the air it moves, and again you are One

You realize the clouds are like the currents, they spiral and they Spin

You begin to move about, slowly flying through the air Floating

 

So many interpretations, visions, translations, all saying the same Thing

There is only one source, it is different views of the reality of All That Is

So no worry of what you find, that this is yours and this is Mine

For it and we are all the same, the Universe and me it is the Same

 

You see it is energy, it's energy, that essence of You

That energy, that energy, You need to connect and find it Within

The Universe is energy, it is energy, and energy connects to Energy

You see this is how it works, energy connects to energy, so find it Within

Your energy within has always been connected or it would not Be

That burning of what you are within, the eternal, the Real You

It is most important to find it, nothing out there is greater to find than This

For it is your line into source, it will feed you like the chord before Birth

This line connects to source, it is a part of source, no Separation

It is where it all comes from, the you, the heart, the Core

Within your Heart a petal, within the petal a gem, within the gem is Source

Peal the layers, that is your mission, all you really need is to Start

  

Once you take that first step on this journey, you are guided on your Way

There are no mistakes dear, there are no distractions for to keep You

It is why we all are watching, the reason for everything that has ever Been

For the guides have been waiting, for you to wake and take their Hands

 

It does not matter where you are, it does not matter the gifts you Have

It does not matter how long it has been, it does not Matter

For now you are here, and tomorrow  there, you will find your Way

Now that you have come home to your Heart, there is magic every Day
