Gift Of Knowing

Coming into your knowing of Self.

As I step into the Day

See what's been lost inside of Me

As I turn and walk Away

I notice the beauty of the Tree

 

For I was a child in the Night

I was lost inside a Prayer

I was seeking after Light

But was disconnected from my Care

 

So many days were spent Alone

Couldn't find a reason to go On

I had a house but was not my Home

And then I woke to a new Dawn

 

I started seeing in a different Way

Don't know how it all came About

Started trusting in the words I'd Say

And somehow I got beyond the Doubt

 

Trusting in a new Heart that Felt

I began seeing others walking beside Me

Started liking the hand I was Dealt

And at last I started breaking Free

 

This is a New Life that's been given Me

And I walk on with a Thankful Heart

This is a New way of living Free

And I know I am just now at the Start

 

What is this Future that I See

With a brightness like I have never Known

It is right here now deep inside of Me

As I realize how much I have Grown

 

I just want to sing at the top of my Lungs

I just want to be at Home with Me

I want the Angels to lose my Tongue

That I might speak of this thing I See

 

For the Hearts are forever Young

And the dreams will forever Be

And we will be forever Strong

In this Vision that will set us Free

 

Walk in the Spirit of your Knowing

Walk in the Strength of your Truth

Keep your inner fire Glowing

And in this your Soul will be Soothed

 

As we wake into the Day

Forever our Hearts will be Thankful

For we trust in all we Say

For the gift of knowing is so Wonderful
