Any Day Now

Any Day Now

A Poem by Healing Star
"

Any Day Now I shall Be Released borrowed from Uncle Bob Dylan. He too was born on the shores of Lake Superior in Duluth, MN.

"

When I go to find my Guide
Will you wait for Me
Can you say you'll always be at my Side
Even when I've been set Free

Any Day now, Any Day now

I will be Released

Any Day now, Any Day now

I will be Released

I once had a friend who Said
That she would never Leave
And then I found her in another's Bed
For my Heart I had to Grieve

Any Day now, Any Day now

I will be Released

Any Day now, Any Day now

I will be Released

So many times I've heard them Crying
Don't know why I've been given this path of Sorrows
Such painful conditions, everyone Lying
Sometimes I feel I'm living a life that's Borrowed

Any Day now, Any Day now

I will be Released

Any Day now, Any Day now

I will be Released

There is trouble on the Horizon
They'll be pointing fingers, until the end of the Game
For all who are still trapped in the Prison
It's the story they've always told it, it's always is the Same

Any Day now, Any Day now

I will be Released

Any Day now, Any Day now

I will be Released

I like the journey in the words. Left the reader with question and a ending. Life is a long journey trying to find peace and understanding. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

About
I am a man who has finally realized he needs to write down what matters to him, that I might learn from myself, what is important, what I value. To capture who I am now, for that is all we have is no.. more..
