The Seed of Love
Love, the silent seeking fog
Seeps in us, cloaks us,
Soaks us to the bone
Invisible, faceless, quiet, serene
She sneaks upon
The unsuspecting heart
No fortress strength
Shall deny her
No bitterness
Deter her
No fearful heart
Resist her
Love, the hopeful one
Lay sleeping
Awakening
At the perfect moment
To plant her seed
In a lonely heart
