Her Imprisonment

Her Imprisonment

A Poem by Ghost

Her Imprisonment

She is trapped within these walls of confinement,

Held captive in the darkness void of life, spirit, and love,

Yet not of isolation,

Except for a nullifying statue she is alone.

Isolated here since she was young,

This dungeon these walls symbolize her life,

Despair has its hold on her emotions her faith,

The only light in her life is what trickles through the bars on the windows of her destiny.

Her only hope is fear,

With a soul of dying embers,

Time for her hesitates between a tick and a tock,

While locked up inside the walls of her imprisonment.
