Passion and Thunder

Passion and Thunder

A Poem by Ghost

Passion and Thunder

Our eyes meet in a timeless glance, but only for a brief moment,

It was then I found myself lost within the paradise of your glance,

Your voice melts me inside, leaving me starving for just one kiss,

And your smile is the invitation, the beacon that guides me home.

Without word, my soul was reborn in the connection to your soul,

My heart constantly seeks to piece us back together - mending us forever,

Giving us the warmest, undefined love that rises above all else,

The sound of your name silences the demons living inside me.

My sanity is imbedded in a promise, a dream of your love,

Days, miles, minutes may keep us apart, but I will not lose myself again,

If I do anything else it will be to ground myself in your existence,

While realizing the truth - each time I find you I rediscover your beauty.

You're innocence is like the rain after a passing storm in the essence of life,

I reach out for you, my oasis, my sanctuary in this overwhelming world,

For now I live in a deafening silence where I relive the memories we shared,

My love is stronger since I’ve given into the distant climax of your passion and thunder....

It is impossible to read these words without experiencing something of the pain which motivated the agonized crafting of them.......Neville
