Follow your heart

just something I was randomly writing.

when darkness surrounds you,
and you dont know what to do,
just listen to your heart,
it will tell you where to go,
if your mind says yes,
yet your heart says no,
remember always,
if your heart says to slow,
always listen to your heart,
it will bring you where you need to go,
if your mind says yes,
and your heart says no,
go with your heart because it surely knows,
it will always guide you on the right way to go.

im surrounded by darkness,
no where left to go,
my hearts been broken,
it was my best friend in tow,
i will go where i need to,
i will take the path less travelled on,
i will take the best road,
when pain encases me,
and my mind goes blank,
and the tears wont flow,
i will remember exactly how i got here,
and where i need to go.
My heart has always led me somewhere,
to where i dont quite know,
the facts are,
i will go,
though the path may be long,
and the struggles hard,
and the pain deep,
i will survive,
i have survived until now,
so i will not go down,
not without a fight,
and damn sure put a fright down the enemies spine,
i have very few enemies,
and even fewer true friends,
but when the day comes,
for me to stand,
i will.
for them,for family,for us all.
Darkness surrounds me,
this much i know,
but when i broken heart leads me,
this much i know,
i will always follow it,
i will always go.
leniant to my heart,
and ready to follow,
i do as it tells me,
and thats why i wont fall.
