Patience and Time

Patience is a virtue

But, time is precious

And Life is precious

That's why patients come

And waiting lists are

If you're not on top

You're on the

bottom

The last pick of the sick

Birthing and dying and crying

A vicious, perpetual cycle

Patients have patience

or at least consolation

For that's the way time flies

Resistant to all tries

in this timeless land of a thousand closed eyes

I am a VA patient so, I had better have lots of patience! It's a shame that caring for the sick and injured is such a money game. $80.00 for an aspirin seem right to you? Good write I must say!
