The Wrong and Blinding Road

The Wrong and Blinding Road

A Poem by Irene Enriquez

The wrong and blinding road, it lead me to your door
And it got me lost
So, I walked and tried another path
But it lead me back to your door

The wild whispers under the sheet at night
They have left me out of sight
You left me lying here, let me find my own way

Many times I found myself knocking on your door
Anyway you know how I came back for more
Now, I need to leave this wrong and blinding road
Been here for too long, I can’t stand here anymore
Leave me here, lead me away from your door

Now, I need to leave this wrong and blinding road
You left me standing here, let me find my own way
Leave me here, lead me away from your door
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

nice play on the Beatles' song....we want the pain to lead us into enough sense to lead us away from that door.
