The VoidA Poem by Aiden'Happy' little piece about dealing with the emptiness that mental illness bringsIt’s waking up with a sigh, yet another day, It’s an alarm clock screaming, but in bed I want to stay. It’s emptying pill boxes, I must phone and ask for more, It’s food left untouched so my insides remain pure.
It’s a defective machine, computer wiring gone wrong, It’s a helix spiralling down, its gravity pull is so strong. It’s miserable clothes in a crumple on the floor, It’s a constant battle, a raging war. © 2017 Aiden |
